 Many people know the popular TV show called "The Locator" on WE TV. I have watched it many times. I love the aspect of someone trying to find a loved one or long lost friends. Most of the time it is a happy reunion and other times people do not want to be found.




People search for someone because they need something. Either it is to find a birth parent a lost sibling, a loved one from the past. All the reasons are different; they need the "why" to their questions answered.


Many free sites say they have free searches. You search for someone and you find him or her, oops what a minute, there is a nominal fee involved. There are not many sites that are truly giving you a free people search. You have to pay something.


I actually used on of these free people search sites for the first time because I had lost all my contact numbers and addresses. Now the fee was really cheap and I actually found who I was looking for. Before I had tried this site, I tried the old conventional ways of looking in the phone book or dialing 411 information, but I found no results. I even tired to Google them, but if they are not on the internet or Facebook or My Space, been arrested or done anything noticeable you can virtually get nowhere.


The search on the Internet with this People Search Engine resulted in the most favorable search. Now it was easy for me. I had his date of birth and his mother's first name. Because in most free people search sites possible family member are added in the search results. Therefore, it narrowed it down to five people with the same name and around the same age. I am pretty sure, if I had a social Security Number it would have been narrowed down to one.


Well the result ended up giving me their work phone number, I called, and he answered. In addition, to my surprise he had been looking for me too. Nevertheless, I actually spent the money to get a good phone number.


People search sites are everywhere. In Google 30% of searches are people related. So if you want to search for people free get a good free people search site and keep it. Because you never know who you need to search for.
